Laurence Brahm is a global activist, author, pioneer social enterprise entrepreneur, political-economist, international mediator, and lawyer based in Lhasa and Beijing.  During the 1990s he served as a policy strategist to China's government, as well as an investment advisor negotiating entry into China for many multinational corporations. He is currently helping to draft China's first comprehensive green growth national policy. Laurence Brahm is the founder of Himalayan Consensus, an NGO, and the African Consensus movement, both dedicated to protecting ethnic diversity through sustainable economics. Laurence Brahm is also founder and CEO of Shambhala Serai, one of Asia's first social enterprises.  He has written over 30 books, including THE ANTI-GLOBALIZATION BREAKFAST CLUB;  CHINA INC; SEARCHING FOR SHANGRI-LA, which is also one of his documentary films.  His latest book is  FUSION ECONOMICS: HOW PRAGMATISM IS CHANGING THE WORLD, published by Palgrave McMillan.  His analysis and predictions have brought outraged criticism from mainstream Western think tanks & media, especially since they so often seem to come true.
