After almost seven years, 200 shows, and somewhere around 5,000 songs, Maps & Legends is coming to an end. My last broadcast will be on Friday, March 25.

It has been my absolute pleasure and wild joy to dive deep into the history of rock and roll, bring up a unifying theme, and play in the vast field of musical expression that rock and roll encompasses. Now I am finding my creative energies drawn elsewhere, namely to several long-term as well as shorter writing projects, as well as other lifestyle sculpting.

I can't tell you how much producing Maps & Legends has enriched my life and knit me into the life of this county. I thank everyone who has listened, those who I have met and those who I haven't--yet—as well as all KXYX staff, past and present.

Neil Young sang: "Rock and roll will never die." Radio station KLOV is always playing, if only we can hear it. Music's eternal, music-makers need to be honored. Tune in.
